How to Play

The game functions as a digital version of "hot potato," where players must complete a task before passing the device to the next person.

• The Setup: Players sit in a circle, choose a game mode or category, and start the timer.

• The "Bomb": The device acts as a ticking bomb. A prompt appears on the screen (e.g., "Types of fruit" or "Brands of cars").

• The Action: The player holding the phone must shout out an answer that fits the category. Once a valid answer is given, they tap the screen and pass the phone to the person on their left.

• The Explosion: The timer is unpredictable. The player caught holding the device when the bomb "explodes" loses the round or receives a penalty.

Strategy

• Pre-loading Answers: While other players are taking their turns, try to think of 3–4 potential answers for the current category. This ensures you can shout an answer and pass the phone immediately when it reaches you.

• Don't Overthink: Accuracy is important, but speed is vital. If the category is "Animals," don't waste time thinking of a rare species—go with "Cat" or "Dog" to get the device out of your hands as fast as possible.

• Psychological Pressure: If you know the person next to you is easily flustered, try to pass the phone quickly. The sudden "beeping" sound of a nearing explosion often causes players to blank on simple words.

• Category Mastery: Familiarize yourself with common categories. If the group frequently plays certain decks, having a mental list of "go-to" words can help you survive the final seconds of a round.
