3. How to Win: Strategy & Tips

• Scanning Technique: Look at a single number (e.g., "1") and scan all rows and columns to see where it is already placed. This helps you eliminate possible spots in the remaining 3x3 blocks.

• The "Naked Single" Hunt: Look for cells that can only possibly contain one specific number because all other numbers (1–9) are already present in that cell's row, column, or box.

• Don't Guess: Sudoku is a game of pure logic. If you find yourself guessing, you’ve likely missed a logical deduction. Re-scan your rows and columns.

• Work from the Clues: Start with the 3x3 boxes or rows that have the most numbers already filled in. The fewer empty spots there are, the easier it is to deduce the missing digits.

• Elimination Process: If a number can only fit in two spots within a box, and one of those spots is blocked by a number in a crossing row, you've found your answer.
