Collector Solitaire is a refined take on the classic Klondike card game developed by Dream-Up, blending traditional gameplay with a collection system that rewards progression with unique card decks and themes.

How to Play

The game follows the standard rules of Solitaire (Klondike) but adds layers of goals and unlockables.

  • Basic Goal: Arrange all cards into four foundation piles at the top, sorted by suit from Ace to King.

  • Tableau Management: You can move cards on the main board in descending order and alternating colors (e.g., a Red 7 must be placed on a Black 8).

  • The Stock Pile: Tap the deck in the corner to draw new cards when you run out of moves on the board. You can choose between "Draw 1" or "Draw 3" modes depending on the difficulty you prefer.

  • Collection Mechanic: As you win games, you earn "Collection Points" or fragments. These are used to unlock new card backs, table backgrounds, and animated deck themes, allowing you to customize your playing environment.

Strategy

  • Reveal Hidden Cards First: Priority should always be given to moving cards that are currently face-down in the tableau columns. The more cards you have visible, the more options you have for building sequences.

  • Don't Empty a Spot Too Soon: Only clear an entire column if you have a King ready to move into that space. An empty spot is useless unless it can be used to hold a King and start a new sequence.

  • Expose the Aces and Deuces: Move Aces and Twos to the foundation piles as soon as they become available. They rarely help in the tableau and clearing them out simplifies the board.

  • Think Before Drawing: Before tapping the stock pile, double-check that there isn't a move available on the board. Over-reliance on the deck can bury useful cards that you might need later in the sequence.
