How to Play

The game utilizes a "line-drawing" strategy mechanic where the goal is to dominate the map by out-producing and out-positioning your opponents.

• Fungal Bases: You start with one or more mushroom "huts" that generate spores (units) over time. The number on the mushroom indicates its current strength and population.

• Expanding the Colony: To attack or occupy a new mushroom, drag your finger from your base to a neutral or enemy mushroom. A stream of spores will travel to the target to deplete its numbers or reinforce it.

• Upgrading Mushrooms: You can often upgrade your mushroom huts to increase their maximum capacity and the speed at which they produce new units.

• Level Completion: The stage ends once you have successfully converted all mushrooms on the screen to your color.

Strategy

• Secure Neutral Ground: At the very beginning of a match, focus entirely on capturing "grey" neutral mushrooms. These provide extra production points without the cost of a fight, giving you a resource advantage before you engage the enemy.

• The "Snapback" Defense: If you see an enemy sending a large force toward one of your mushrooms, don't just let it happen. Send reinforcements from a secondary mushroom to arrive just as the enemy hits. This allows you to retain the tower with a healthy population.

• Focus Fire: It is much more effective to send streams from three of your mushrooms toward a single enemy target simultaneously than to attack three different enemies at once. Overwhelming a single point of the enemy's line will cause their entire defense to crumble.

• Sacrificial Expansion: Sometimes it is worth emptying a small mushroom to take over a much larger one. The higher production rate of a large "King Mushroom" will quickly make up for the loss of a smaller position.
