Growing Population

How to Play

The objective is to navigate through a series of gates to increase your population size and reach the end of the level with the maximum number of people.

• Movement: Swipe left and right to guide your growing crowd through the environment.

• Gate Mechanics: Throughout the course, you will encounter blue and red gates with mathematical symbols (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

  • Passing through blue gates adds to or multiplies your population.

  • Passing through red gates subtracts from or divides your population.

• Environment Obstacles: Avoid physical traps, moving barriers, and static obstacles that can "kill" individual members of your crowd upon contact.

• Ending: At the finish line, your final population count is typically used to overcome a final challenge or calculate a score multiplier.

Strategy

• Prioritize Multiplication: Early in the level, multiplication gates are significantly more valuable than addition gates. Aim for these first to establish a high baseline population.

• Quick Calculations: Scan the path ahead to compare upcoming gates. Sometimes a smaller multiplication gate is better than a larger addition gate, depending on your current crowd size.

• Center of the Crowd: Keep the bulk of your crowd in the center of the lane. If your crowd is wide, the edges are more susceptible to hitting obstacles or falling off the path, leading to rapid population loss.

• The "Lesser Evil" Rule: If you are forced to hit a red gate, aim for subtraction rather than division if your population is high, as division will cut your numbers much more drastically.
