Backgammon Plus brings the centuries-old board game into a modern digital format. The game emphasizes real-time multiplayer matches where players can compete in various "rooms" with different stakes. It features a clean, professional aesthetic designed to mimic the feel of a high-end physical backgammon set, combined with the convenience of instant matchmaking and social features like friend lists and chat.
Live Multiplayer: Connect instantly with thousands of players worldwide for 1v1 matches.
Different Room Stakes: Choose from various rooms (e.g., Istanbul, London, Las Vegas) where the entry fees and rewards scale with the difficulty.
Play with Friends: Integrated social tools allow you to invite and challenge your Facebook friends or people you've met in-game.
Fair Dice System: The game uses a certified Random Number Generator (RNG) to ensure that every dice roll is completely random and fair.
Daily Bonuses: Earn free coins and rewards every day to keep your bankroll healthy for higher-stakes games.
Doubling Cube: Includes the classic doubling cube mechanic, allowing players to raise the stakes mid-game if they feel they have a significant advantage.
The Objective: Move all 15 of your checkers into your "home board" and then "bear them off" (remove them from the board). The first player to remove all their checkers wins.
Movement: Roll two dice and move your checkers according to the numbers shown. You can move one checker for the total of both dice or move two separate checkers.
Hitting and Entering: If you land on a point occupied by a single enemy checker (a "blot"), you "hit" it, sending it to the "bar." The opponent must then re-enter that checker through your home board before they can move any other pieces.
Bearing Off: Once all 15 of your checkers are in your final six points (home board), you can start rolling to remove them from play.
Control the Prime: Try to create a "prime"—a series of six consecutive points occupied by at least two of your checkers. This creates an impassable wall that your opponent cannot jump over.
Don't Leave Blots: Avoid leaving a single checker on a point, especially in your opponent’s reach. Always try to "make a point" by having at least two checkers together to stay safe from being hit.
The Anchor Strategy: If you are behind, try to maintain an "anchor" (a point with two or more checkers) in your opponent's home board. This gives you a safe landing spot and a chance to hit their checkers as they try to bring them home.
Use the Doubling Cube Wisely: If you have a clear positional advantage, use the doubling cube early to force your opponent to either fold (granting you an instant win) or play for double the points.
Priority of Movement: In the early game, focus on moving your "runners" (the two checkers furthest away) out of your opponent's home board as quickly as possible.
