In this world, people known as "Riders" form lifelong bonds with monsters instead of hunting them. You play as a young Rider from the village of Hakum, setting out on an epic journey to stop a mysterious phenomenon called the "Black Blight." Along the way, you’ll explore vast environments, infiltrate monster dens to steal eggs, and hatch a diverse team of "Monsties" to battle alongside you.
Monstie Collection: Collect, hatch, and raise iconic creatures from the franchise like Rathalos, Tigrex, and Zinogre.
Rock-Paper-Scissors Combat: A tactical turn-based system based on three attack types: Power, Speed, and Technical.
Gene Splicing (Rite of Channeling): A deep customization system that allows you to transfer "Genes" from one Monstie to another, enabling you to teach a fire-breathing monster ice attacks or boost its passive stats.
Rider Skills: Your protagonist participates in battle using various weapon types (Great Sword, Sword & Shield, Hammer, and Hunting Horn), each with unique skills and combos.
Exploration & Riding: Use your Monsties’ "Riding Actions" to reach new areas—some can fly, others can swim, climb walls, or jump across ravines.
HD Graphics: Completely optimized for high-resolution mobile screens with a vibrant, cel-shaded art style.
Stealing Eggs: Find Monster Dens on the world map. Enter the nest at the end and "rummage" for an egg. Pay attention to the egg's weight and smell—heavier, better-smelling eggs contain Monsties with rarer genes.
The Combat Triangle: * Power beats Technical.
Technical beats Speed.
Speed beats Power.
Kinship Gauge: Winning "Head-to-Head" battles fills your Kinship Gauge. Once full, you can mount your Monstie to perform a devastating Kinship Skill.
Rite of Channeling: Visit the village elder to transfer genes. Aligning three genes of the same color or type in a row (Bingo) grants massive stat bonuses.
Learn Monster Patterns: Most wild monsters follow a specific attack pattern. For example, a Velocidrome almost always uses Speed. By consistently countering with Technical, you can win every Head-to-Head and take minimal damage.
Upgrade Your Equipment: Don't ignore the Smithy. Even the strongest Monstie needs a Rider who can survive. Craft armor from the monsters you defeat to gain elemental resistances.
Bingo Bonuses are Vital: When gene-splicing, prioritize getting a "Bingo" (a line of three) for your Monstie's primary element. A Fire-element bingo can significantly increase the damage of all fire attacks.
Switch Monsties Often: You can swap your active Monstie during your turn in battle. If the enemy changes its attack style, switch to a Monstie that naturally counters the new pattern.
The "Navirou" Hint: Your companion, Navirou, often gives verbal clues during battle or when picking up eggs. If he says an egg "smells like a Rathian," believe him!
