Game Description
The story is centered around the "SEKAI"—mysterious alternate worlds born from true feelings. When a young person in Shibuya encounters a song titled "Untitled" with no melody or lyrics, they are transported to a SEKAI where they meet Hatsune Miku and her virtual friends. Together, they navigate their personal struggles through the power of music. The game is praised for its emotional storytelling and its extensive library of classic and modern Vocaloid tracks.
Traditional Rhythm Gameplay: Experience a high-quality "tap, hold, and flick" rhythm engine. It features five difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, and Master) to accommodate all skill levels.
Virtual Shows: Participate in real-time virtual concerts alongside players from around the world. You can control your avatar, wave glow sticks, and use emotes to interact with the performance.
Multiplayer Co-op: Create "Multi Live" rooms with up to four friends or join random lobbies to play songs together and earn better rewards.
Deep Gacha & Collection: Collect and upgrade character cards with stunning artwork. Each card comes with unique skills that boost your score or help you survive difficult songs.
Customization: Craft costumes for your band members to wear during 3D Music Videos (MVs) and Virtual Shows.
Fully Voiced Stories: Each of the five main bands (Leo/need, MORE MORE JUMP!, Vivid BAD SQUAD, Wonderlands x Showtime, and 25-ji, Nightcord de.) has its own distinct, fully-voiced narrative arc.
Note Types: * Tap: Simple tap on the hit line.
Flick: Swipe up or in the indicated direction.
Hold: Press and hold until the end of the note trail.
Gold Notes: Special notes that provide a significant score bonus.
Energy System: Uses "Live Bonus" energy. While you can play songs without it, using energy significantly increases the XP and items you earn per match.
Team Building: A team consists of five characters. Matching characters from the same unit or with the same "attribute" (Cool, Cute, Happy, Pure, Mysterious) provides massive score bonuses during events.
Adjust Your Note Speed: The default note speed is often too slow for many players, causing the screen to look cluttered. Most intermediate players find a speed between 9.0 and 10.5 easier to read.
Focus on Area Items: Visit the different SEKAIs to buy and upgrade "Area Items" (like speakers or posters). These provide permanent stat boosts to your characters and are the key to reaching "S" rank scores.
Full Combo vs. Clear: In Colorful Stage, a "Full Combo" (no Miss/Bad notes) rewards you with extra crystals. If you are struggling to clear a song, use cards with "Life Recovery" or "Accuracy Boost" skills.
Tiering in Events: To rank high in events, use your "Live Bonus" in chunks of 2 or 3. This is the most efficient way to maximize event points without burning through your energy refills (cans) too quickly.
Read the Stories: Don't skip the stories! Reading main and event stories not only gives you deep character insight but also rewards you with crystals and music cards used to unlock new songs.
