1. Description
The journey begins on a remote island containing a mysterious dungeon entrance. Once inside, you must descend through a series of increasingly difficult levels. Since every dungeon is generated "on the fly," no two playthroughs are exactly alike. The primary objective is to collect as much loot as possible while fighting off monsters and searching for better equipment to sustain your run. Your total loot collection determines your standing on the global high-score leaderboards.
Infinite Procedural Generation: Every floor is unique, providing a fresh layout of rooms, hallways, and enemy spawns for each session.
Hybrid Gameplay: Combines the fast-paced action of an FPS with the character progression and equipment management of an RPG.
Loot-Driven Progression: Find new weapons and items hidden within the dungeon to increase your combat effectiveness.
Global Leaderboards: Compete against other players to see who can gather the most loot before their run ends.
Gamepad Support: Includes optimizations for Bluetooth gamepads, offering a more traditional console-style control scheme.
Minimalist Technical Footprint: Highly optimized at under 5 MB, making it accessible for almost any device.
The Descent: Enter the dungeon and navigate using the virtual D-pad or a connected controller.
Combat: Use your equipped weapons to defeat enemies as they appear. Precision and movement are key to avoiding damage in the first-person view.
Scavenging: Search every corner for chests and drops. Loot isn't just for scoring; it's essential for finding better gear.
Survival: Keep an eye on your health. As you go deeper, enemies become more aggressive and powerful.
Exiting/Continuing: The game continues until you are defeated. The goal is to see how many floors you can clear and how much treasure you can amass in a single life.
Master the "Strafing" Motion: Like many classic FPS games, moving sideways (strafing) while firing is the best way to avoid incoming attacks from monsters.
Prioritize Navigation: Some players find the tiled environments challenging to navigate. Try to keep a mental map or use distinct wall features to ensure you don't accidentally backtrack into cleared rooms.
Manage Your Virtual Controls: If the default touch interface feels off, go into the settings to adjust the size and position of the virtual D-pad to suit your hands.
Loot Everything: Even if you find an item you don't need, collect everything to boost your total score for the leaderboard.
Don't Rush: Because the game is a roguelike, rushing into a new room can lead to being overwhelmed. Peek around corners and draw enemies out one at a time.
