### Gameplay Overview

* **The Mission:** Help a brave little chicken (and eventually its animal friends) cross increasingly dangerous highways filled with speeding cars, trucks, and campers.

* **The Perspective:** The camera is positioned in profile, meaning you move left or right while watching traffic drive "into" the screen toward you.

* **One-Button Control:** The gameplay is designed around extreme simplicity. You are constantly moving forward; holding the **A button** (or tapping it) acts as your primary interaction to stop, reverse, or adjust your speed to weave through gaps.

* **Unlocks & Customization:** As you cross roads, you collect coins that can be spent in the shop to unlock new hats or entirely different characters, such as raccoons and frogs.

### How to Play

1.  **Movement:** Your character moves forward automatically. 

2.  **The Brake/Reverse:** Press or hold the **A button** to halt your forward momentum or move backward. This is your only tool for avoiding an oncoming collision.

3.  **The Goal:** Reach the bus stop at the end of each level. Once you board the bus, you successfully complete the stage and move to the next, more difficult road.

4.  **Power-ups:** Look out for items like bouncy springs or balloons that appear in later levels to help you bypass particularly dense traffic.

### Strategies for Success

* **Master the "Threading" Technique:** Safety in this game is often a matter of finding the specific "safe pixels" between two moving vehicles. Don't always wait for a massive gap; learn to thread the needle.

* **Feather the Button:** Instead of long holds, try rapid tapping of the **A button** when you are at the edge of a busy lane. This allows you to "inch" forward while maintaining a ready state to retreat instantly.

* **Watch the Shadows/Perspective:** Because of the profile view, vehicles appearing "smaller" in the distance are your warning. Use the visual depth to judge the speed of different vehicle types (e.g., small cars are usually faster than large trucks).

* **Farm Early Levels for Coins:** If you want to unlock new characters quickly, the first 10 levels are significantly easier and shorter. Replaying these can be an efficient way to stock up on currency for the shop.

* **Go for "Close Shaves":** Passing very close to a vehicle triggers a "Close Shave" bonus. While risky, mastering this timing is essential for clearing the tighter, multi-lane highways in the late game.
