1. Description
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the game places you in various dark and claustrophobic environments—such as abandoned hospitals, eerie forests, and desolate urban ruins—overrun by the undead. The game focuses on atmosphere and "jump scares," utilizing VR to make the player feel physically trapped in a nightmare scenario where zombies can approach from any angle.
VR Immersion: Optimized for mobile VR headsets (like Google Cardboard) to provide a 3D, stereoscopic view that enhances the sense of dread.
360-Degree Combat: Enemies can approach from behind or the sides, requiring the player to constantly look around their physical environment.
Multiple Environments: Features several "horror zones," each with distinct lighting effects and environmental hazards.
Weapon Arsenal: Access to various tools of survival, including pistols, shotguns, and melee weapons to fend off the horde.
High-Tension Audio: 3D spatial sound effects allow you to hear the groans and footsteps of zombies, helping you locate them by ear.
Movement: In VR mode, movement is typically handled via "auto-walk" or by looking at specific floor markers. In standard 360 mode, you can use on-screen controls or your phone’s gyroscope to navigate.
Aiming & Shooting: In many VR modes, aiming is controlled by your line of sight (gaze-aiming). Hovering your reticle over a zombie will trigger an automatic attack or require a tap of the headset button/screen.
Survival: Monitor your health and ammunition. You must clear the required number of zombies or reach an extraction point to progress to the next level.
Check Your Six: The biggest threat in VR horror is the enemy you can't see. Make it a habit to do a full 360-degree spin every few seconds to ensure a zombie isn't creeping up behind you.
Aim for the Head: Consistent with zombie lore, headshots deal significantly more damage and save precious ammunition.
Listen Closely: Use headphones to take advantage of the spatial audio. If you hear a scratching sound to your left, turn immediately—the audio cues often trigger before the zombie is fully visible in the dark.
Manage Your Light: Some levels provide a flashlight with limited battery or visibility. Use it sparingly to avoid drawing too much attention, but keep it on in tight corridors to avoid being blindsided.
Stay Calm: Rapid, jerky head movements can cause motion sickness and make it harder to aim. Try to move your head and body in smooth, controlled arcs.
