1. Game Description
Set seven years after the events of the previous game, the story follows Apollo Justice, a rookie defense attorney with a loud voice and a mysterious bracelet. As Apollo, you must navigate a legal system undergoing significant changes while uncovering the truth behind a series of complex murders. The game introduces a new cast of characters, including the magician Trucy Wright and the legendary Phoenix Wright in a surprising new role.
HD Remastered Graphics: Entirely updated high-resolution art and character animations optimized for modern displays.
Touch-Screen Investigation: Utilize the smartphone interface to dust for fingerprints, examine 3D evidence from all angles, and test for bloodstains using luminol.
The "Perceive" System: Use Apollo’s unique ability to observe witnesses’ nervous tics and habits during their testimony to catch them in a lie.
Mason System: A gameplay mechanic used in the final episode to piece together clues from the past and present to solve a decade-old mystery.
Multiple Episodes: Includes all four original cases, ranging from a high-stakes poker game murder to a complex case involving a rock band.
Investigation Phase: Visit crime scenes, talk to witnesses, and gather evidence. You must find all key clues before the game allows you to move to the trial.
Trial Phase: Cross-examine witnesses by "Pressing" them for more information or "Presenting" evidence that contradicts their statements.
Logic & Deduction: Listen carefully to testimony. If a statement contradicts a piece of evidence in your Court Record, present that evidence to "Objection!" and advance the case.
The Bracelet: When the bracelet tightens during a testimony, activate the Perceive mechanic to slow down time and look for subtle physical movements (like a twitching eye or sweating) that indicate a witness is lying.
Press Everything: Even if you think you have the right evidence, "Pressing" every statement in a cross-examination often reveals new information or changes the witness's testimony, which is sometimes necessary to trigger the next event.
Examine Evidence Closely: In the mobile version, you can rotate 3D evidence. Always check the back, bottom, or inside of items in your inventory; some clues are hidden out of plain sight.
Think Outside the Box: If you are stuck, reconsider the "hidden" meaning of a piece of evidence. The solution often involves how an item was used, rather than just what it is.
Save Frequently: While the game has an auto-save feature, manual saving before presenting evidence during a difficult cross-examination can help you avoid restarting from a checkpoint if your "Health Bar" runs out.
Watch the Tics: During Perceive segments, look for parts of the witness's body that are not usually in focus. A witness might be tapping their finger or moving their feet under the table.
