Core Gameplay & Chaos
Sandbox Carnage: Players control Pilgor the goat in the massive new open world of San Angora. You can lick objects to drag them, headbutt NPCs, and interact with the environment to trigger physics-based chain reactions.
Multiplayer Mayhem: The biggest addition is 4-player co-op (local or online). You can form a "herd" with three friends to complete quests, cause mass destruction together, or compete in seven built-in mini-games (like Goat Golf and Floor is Lava).
Quests & Events: Unlike the first game, this one features a more structured progression system with actual "Events" (quests) scattered across the map that reward you with "Illuminati Points" to upgrade your Goat Castle.
Goat Skins: You can play as various "goats," including tall goats (giraffes), stripey goats (zebras), and even a goldfish.
Equipment: There is a vast array of gear to find and equip, many of which provide special abilities. You can equip jetpacks, umbrellas, toilet rolls, or even turn your goat into a walking musical instrument.
Vehicles: You can hijack and drive cars, tractors, and other vehicles to traverse the island quickly (and dangerously).
Multiversal Traveler's Edition: Includes the base game and the Multiverse of Nonsense expansion, which introduces a new story and multiple alternative dimensions.
Add-ons: Several packs like Buck to the Future and Baadlands: Furry Road offer themed cosmetics and equipment.
Platform: Optimized for Xbox Series X|S (supports 4K and 60 FPS+). It is also playable on Xbox One via Smart Delivery and accessible through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Game Pass: It is currently included in Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate tiers.
Rating: Rated Teen for Crude Humor, Violence, and Language.
The game is intentionally buggy, absurd, and filled with pop-culture parodies (including a notable riff on Skyrim and The Matrix). It is widely regarded as the ultimate "time-waster" for players who enjoy emergent gameplay and slapstick physics.
