### Game Overview:

* **The New Timeline:** Following the events of *Mortal Kombat 11*, Fire God Liu Kang has reset the universe. Classic characters return with reimagined origins, relationships, and powers (e.g., Sub-Zero and Scorpion are now brothers in the Lin Kuei).

* **Kameo Fighters:** A unique gameplay mechanic where you choose a secondary "Kameo" character to assist you during combat. They can perform offensive extensions, defensive breaks, and their own distinct Fatalities.

* **Invasions Mode:** A seasonal single-player RPG-lite mode where you traverse a board-game style map, level up your fighters, and earn unique skins and gear.

By now, the game has received its full suite of planned DLC content:

* **Khaos Reigns Expansion:** A massive story expansion focusing on Titan Havik. It introduced characters like **Noob Saibot**, **Cyrax**, and **Sektor**.

* **Kombat Pack 1:** Added guest characters **Omni-Man**, **Peacemaker**, and **Homelander**, alongside MK veterans Ermac, Quan Chi, and Takeda.

* **Kombat Pack 2:** Included iconic guests **Ghostface** (Scream), **T-1000** (Terminator 2), and **Conan the Barbarian**.
