How to Play
Combat Stances: The core of the game revolves around three directions of attack and defense (Left, Right, and Top). You must match your opponent's direction to block or find an opening in their guard to strike.
Stamina Management: Every swing, block, and dodge consumes stamina. If your stamina bar empties, your movements become sluggish, leaving you vulnerable to a devastating guard-break or finisher.
The Arena & Story: You can progress through a single-player campaign to reclaim your honor or enter the Arena to challenge real players in asynchronous PvP duels.
Equipment & Customization: You can collect, upgrade, and craft various medieval weapons (longswords, maces, axes) and armor sets. Each piece of gear has different weights and attributes that affect your speed and defense.
Master the Parry: Don't just hold the block button. If you switch your stance to match the enemy's attack at the very last second, you will perform a parry. This staggers the opponent and allows for a high-damage counter-attack without consuming much stamina.
Watch the Feet: Observe your opponent's movement. If they are backing away, they are likely trying to regenerate stamina. Use this moment to press the attack or take a breath yourself if your own bar is low.
Feinting: You can start an attack from one direction and quickly switch to another mid-swing. This is essential in PvP to trick human players into blocking the wrong side.
Weapon Synergy: Choose weapons that suit your playstyle. A mace is slower but excellent for crushing heavy armor and draining enemy stamina, while a longsword offers a balanced reach and faster recovery times.
Upgrade Strategically: Early in the game, focus on upgrading your weapon's "Sharpness" or "Impact" to end duels quickly. Later on, prioritize your armor's "Poise" attribute to ensure you aren't easily staggered by heavy hits.
Environmental Awareness: In some arenas, your positioning matters. Avoid getting backed into a corner where your camera view might be obstructed, making it harder to read the enemy's stance transitions.
Daily Challenges: Complete the daily trials to earn rare crafting materials. These materials are necessary for reforging "Epic" and "Legendary" gear, which provide significant stat boosts over standard equipment.
