How to Play
Establish Your Domain: As a lord, you begin by building your city, researching technologies, and expanding your territory. Managing resource grids (like ports and passes) is essential for boosting production.
Summon Generals: You can collect and command legendary Three Kingdoms generals, such as Guan Yu and Jiang Wei. Each general has unique troop types and specialized skills.
Real-Time Battles: Engage in real-time combat involving hundreds of players. The game features a massive map with over 4 million tiles and diverse terrains (mountains, rivers, deserts).
Choose Your Path: You can join an Alliance to cooperate with friends and conquer territories together, or become a Ranger (lone wolf) to plunder the world independently.
Weather and Formation: Utilize 6 different battle formations and 4 troop types (with 28 variants). The global weather system directly impacts combat effectiveness.
Weaponize the Weather: Pay close attention to the global weather system. Rain, snow, and wind can buff or debuff specific troop types and general skills. Plan your major assaults during weather windows that favor your specific army composition.
Master Terrain Advantages: Use the landscape as a tactical tool. Fighting in forests, deserts, or near rivers can provide defensive bonuses or mobility penalties to the enemy. Defeating "untouchable" enemies often requires luring them into unfavorable terrain.
Capture Strategic Choke Points: Ports and mountain passes are more than just territory; they are functional barriers. Controlling these allows you to dictate the movement of enemy alliances and protect your core resource grids.
Balance Your Legion: Don't just rely on raw power. Synergize your general skills with the correct troop variants. With 28 variants available, tailoring your legion to counter the specific troop types of your neighbors is critical for survival.
Communicate and Coordinate: If you are in an alliance, use Discord or in-game chat to sync attacks. Coordinated strikes from multiple players are far more effective at toppling high-level cities than individual efforts.
Adapt as a Ranger: If playing as a lone wolf, focus on high maneuverability. Rangers excel at stealthy plundering; avoid prolonged standoffs with large alliances and instead strike high-value, under-defended targets.
Participate in Anniversary Events: Major celebrations (like the 3rd Anniversary) offer high-value rewards like General Skins, Beads, and Red Packets. These items can provide significant boosts to your base appearance and resource efficiency.
Optimize Your Formations: Continually test the 6 battle formations against different NPC and player setups. A well-chosen formation can mitigate a significant numerical disadvantage by protecting your back-line generals or focusing damage on enemy weaknesses.
