While earlier *Arma* titles were PC-exclusive, *Reforger* is the first entry in the series designed natively for consoles.

### Setting

The game is set in 1989 during the Cold War on the fictional mid-Atlantic island of **Everon** (a 51 km² terrain) and the smaller strategic outpost of **Arland**. Because it is a Cold War simulator, you won’t find modern tech like drones or GPS; instead, you rely on compasses, paper maps, and handheld radios.

The game is rated **M for Mature** for intense violence and blood. It is recommended for players who enjoy "mil-sim" (military simulation) experiences where teamwork and realistic ballistics are more important than fast-paced "run-and-gun" gameplay.
